Border Collie - Connie's Storm - Large - Adult - Male - Dog
Connie's Storm is a dog that "Connie" had adopted out but due to his new owners problems he is being returned to Connie. Storm is a wonderful dog who needs a new home ASAP! I would not recommend a home with small children...he is approx. 40 pounds of play, so teens or older would be ideal. He is a border collie/rottweiler mix, just turned 2 in November (born 11/2/08). He was the runt of the litter. He IS neutered, up to date on rabies shots and has his county tags. He doesn't seem to want to get along with male dogs, but does very well with Connie's 5 female dogs. At his current home he has been exposed to 5 cats and another female dog, and has done well. He craves attention, loves walks, loves to spend alot of time outside, and knows basic commands. He's highly intelligent, and with a little TLC and some one on one attention, he will be a wonderful pet to someone. He is crate trained, but does well without a crate (I will not put him in a crate because in at least one of his homes it was used as a punishment). He is going to be confused being moved from his home to another so we are hopeing that this will be his forever home!
