German Shepherd Dog - Tundra - Large - Adult - Female - Dog
Tundra has been in our care since the end of 2008. She is about four years old. Tundra is a special needs girl because she is deaf. Her "special need" is a family with patience. It may be obvious but the only difference between Tundra and dog that isn't deaf is that she will rely on sight instead of sound. If you can respect that and are willing to do things only slightly differently then you will have made a wonderful friend. She is fine with other dogs but she does need to go to a home without cats. Tundra needs to be leash walked or have a fenced yard. She is crate-trained and loads herself into the car even if it requires a big jump. After the initial excitement of getting her harness and leash on she walks well on a leash. She is a sweet girl and loves attention. Tundra has great house manners and will cuddle up with you on the couch.
