Chow Chow - Annie - Large - Young - Female - Dog
Annie is a beautiful Chow/Great Pyrenees mix. She came to the shelter with 4 puppies. Because all of her puppies are now gone, Annie was placed in a foster home because she was very shy and mistrusting. Her foster family now report that she has come around some but remains very skittish of men. She stays in the yard and enjoys playing with the foster family's other dogs. She now comes when called and and has already been spayed. She has excelled in foster care. Her foster family has two teenage boys, 7 other dogs, 3 indoor cats, 1 outdoor cat, 3 horses, 2 fish and had a foster bunny. Annie did well around all of those animals and has never once had an accident in her foster home. She will take some time to adjust to a new situation so she will need someone very patient and willing to give her the time she will need to adjust. Chows are typically one owner dogs but Annie has done well in her foster home. If you would like to meet Annie in person, please visit our website and complete an application.
